If you are a beginner photographer or someone who wants to deepen their understanding by learning some special effects that will really make your holiday photos special, then this workshop is for you!
Join us for an evening of Bokeh instruction. What is Bokeh exactly? It's so very simple and fun especially around the holidays! Bokeh comes from the Japanese term Boke, which means blur. In Photography, it refers to the quality of the blur in out-of-focus areas of an image.....or.....the way the lens renders out of focus points of light. There are some lens that work better so if you have one of the following bring it- but if not, don’t worry you still will be able to achieve this look with the lens that came with your camera!
-50mm 1.4 or 1.8
-macro lens (preferably 2.8)
-portrait lens such as 85mm 1.8 or 2.8
- any other lens with a large aperture such as 2.8
-telephoto lens (use your wide aperture)
What to bring:
1. Manual focus capability on your camera & lens (DSLR camera)
2. Tripod (very very helpful but not completely necessary)
3. Camera fully charged with SD card
Get ready to have fun!
